FAQ

~Who is this platform for?
Our platform is open to anyone interested in learning about worldviews, engaging in respectful dialogue, and exploring the values and beliefs that shape societies. Whether you're from a religious background, a secular perspective, or simply curious about different cultures, there's something for everyone.

~What Is a Social Enterprise?

A social enterprise is an organization that operates like a business but prioritizes a mission to create positive social change. Instead of focusing on profit, social enterprises like ours take a portion of the courses cost and put it towards developing new programs, getting a facility, and continue building bridges between people of different communities.

~How can someone support your cause?

The best way to support our cause is by spreading the word about what we do! You can also support us by purchasing a course for yourself or gifting a course to someone else in your community. Every bit of support helps us bring more people together through meaningful dialogue.

~Can I suggest a topic or speaker for an event?
Absolutely! We welcome suggestions for discussion topics and guest speakers. Our goal is to create conversations that are engaging, relevant, and meaningful to our communities. If you have a topic you’d like us to explore or know of a speaker who aligns with our mission, please reach out to info.commonground7@gmail.com. While we can’t guarantee every suggestion will be used, we carefully consider all submissions when planning future events.

~Do you offer opportunities for collaboration with other organizations?
Yes! We believe that meaningful dialogue is best achieved through collaboration. We look to partner with educational institutions, community groups, and other organizations that share our commitment to fostering respectful conversations. If you’re interested in working with us on an event, project, or initiative, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact us at info.commonground7@gmail.com to discuss potential partnership opportunities.

~Why isn't my religion available?

We take great care to ensure we spend the time needed to create a course that properly represents each religion's beliefs/customs and has been vetted by teachers of that religion. If you know of teachers that have insights into religions that we don’t currently have courses on then please tell us.

~Do you have a facility?

Not yet. We currently rely on the generosity of our partners, who allow us to use their spaces for in-person events. However, a portion of every course fee is set aside to help us work toward establishing a facility of our own in the future.
